FIX THE AC! ITS SUMMER TIME. STOP BEING CHEAP. The temperature is unacceptable. I’ve been to friends gyms in the summer time and the temperature is normal because the AC is on. (Can feel the AC at a normal temp coming for your upstairs offices so we know it’s working)
I’ve been a member of Planet Fitness for quite a few years, and I’ve been coming to this specific location for over 5 years. Sadly, my most recent visit was frustrating and disappointing. I brought my longboard — non-electric, just how I get around — and was met with immediate resistance from the staff. It’s your standard Planet Fitness. Clean enough and gets the job done. But be warned: the machines and amenities are aging, none of the cardio equipment has fans, and the management needs to do something about the temperature in the space. As others have said, the difference in temperature from the main lobby to inside the gym is shocking. The heat has become unbearable no matter the time of day. Prepare to leave drenched.
The AC difference from the lobby to the actual gym says it all. Ownership is being cheap with the AC bill. Please lower the temperature on the AC! The gym is becoming unusable during the summer. They absolutely have the capacity to improve the AC situation but they are just being cheap.
Just a few chest machines. Too hot. You have to put an AC there for hot days!
