The gym is great and always clean, but the employees is what makes this place great. Specifically Mike, who anlways greets everyone with a smile, always handle anything you need! Mike is by far the best employee there and definitely needs to be promoted! He will continue to make this place even better!
Everyone who works there is extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, ownership has the worst communication skills of any business I've ever seen. They're closed at least once a week with AC issues and the only way to find out is a piece of paper taped to the front door. No email, text, nothing letting you know before you take time out of your day to drive up there. The fact that they still charge you, despite not being open half the time you try to go is ridiculous. Can I get my money back for how often it closes early in the summer? This is Alabama and A/C issues should be fixed ASAP. It shouldn’t take the entire summer to fix it. I like this place but will cancel my membership because of this ridiculousness.
It seems like this Planet Fitness owner has it figured out by closing down every day between 11-1:30. You charge everyone full price, offer half the services promised, cut down on hourly wages, cut down on use of your assets and extend their life, and cut down on bills.
