Definitely one of the better maintained planet fitness. The only downside is that it’s a bit small and gets crowded quite easily after 4pm.
Once upon a time, Planet Fitness locations had one of two brands of strength and cardio machines. Life Fitness machines are far superior to the poorly designed and even dangerous machines by the Matrix brand. But, for reasons I cannot fathom, Planet Fitness has “upgraded” nearly every NYC location with Matrix equipment. This is the address of the Planet Fitness where the incident occurred I personally witnessed a Planet Fitness employee physically assault and knock out an innocent 17-year-old minor. The situation was extremely serious and disturbing. After the incident, neither the manager nor the assistant manager contacted the police or emergency services. Great gym. Well kept with no trash and 99% of the time the machines work. Great gym, with lots of different equippment.
