Like being in elementary school. Everyone is suppose to use paper towels and some kind of disinfectant spray before & after each and every piece of equipment you touch, even if you are not at all sweaty! It's neurotic, and who knows what everyone is breathing in from the thousands of times that stuff is being sprayed. Also God forbid someone actually breaths out or grunts too loud or makes a noise by dropping a weight ... an obnoxious loud alarm and flashing light goes off!
Worse than a hotel-chain gym This gym is not as well-equipped as the average hotel-chain gym. TOO WARM, DON'T BOTHER WITH BLACK MEMBERSHIP Yes, you can't beat the price for this gym. But beware it is VERY warm in the gym -- there are fans but the thermometer has been ripped out of the wall so that you can't see at what temperature management keeps the air. The clientele is mixed but it appears that they cater to the 65+ crowd, of which there are many. A Great Place to Feel Good World gym is a Great workout place , friendly, lots of machines, wide variety of people..not just gym rats... they (the staff) were helpful and present.. bright and sunny space and lots to do.. they even had some freebies they were giving away.. good hours and has never been too crowded.. I highly recommend World gym Hampton Bays..

World Gym -the Best in the Hamptons World Gym in Hampton Bays is a full service gym that is friendly, clean and has plenty of the latest up-to date equipment and a great variety of classes, even for a beginner, for men and women .. with real friendly, knowageable concerned people.(Nancy,Patrick, Jen, Ray, Joyce, Donna and all are great..) working there.... not the biggest, just the best around with a world-class weight room that's not dark and intimidating..members are even friendly.. good atmosphere makes it a fun workout p... read more
