I used to be a member of Planet Fitness in Wilmington, Ma. but the Latina girl left and it got dirtier and dirtier. Started working out at Planet Fitness in Reading, Ma. It's cleaner. But, now it is worse than Wilmington. Will change to another fitness place. Stoneham MA has a good gym near Target. Seems good. I will update you.
As a workout atmosphere, I would have given this place a Five Star rating, however, due to the management, I had to bring it down to a three star rating. First, brings me back to Corporate Headquarters. And I found this didn't just happen to me, but a few others as well. Manager and some employees are much to sensitive about a weight dropping or if a person grunts. I totally understand the alarm, if this behavior is consistent. But when its "every time" a weight makes the slightest noise or person grunts. It becomes a bit irritating. After all this is a "gym". Super clean gym with lots of new equipment that the staff continues to clean throughout the day. Great trainer, Christine, and the front end service is great... EXCEPT for these THREE things! 1. The on-duty manager is rude and sarcastic 2. Decibels of music routinely reach ear damaging effects @103,104 as indicated by my iPhone. - So, wear nose cancelling earphones as the management doesn't care and the muscle heads complain unless they have loud, thumping music. 3. This is my first week with Planet Fitness and I must say, it truly has a pleasant atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff members. I am looking forward to growing and achieveing my fitness goals with Planet Fitness.
