I signed up for a gym membership in the summer but couldn’t use it until today. I brought my usual workout gear—lifting straps and resistance bands—which I typically carry in a bag. When I originally signed up, staff assured me this wouldn’t be a problem. However, during today’s workout, I was told I couldn’t bring my bag onto the gym floor because it created a tripping hazard. Absolutely terrible customer service, make you jump through hoops to attempt to cancel, keep billing you after you do, deny you ever cancelled in the first place, absolutely clueless manager can’t even answer questions clearly Update 1 year later- still getting random charges and fighting about cancelling it, I live 8hrs away so can’t go in anymore times, and a different clueless manager this time, avoid this place at all costs!!
