Perfect haven for a weary-but-keen-to-exercise traveler! I was in town for the weekend, and I wanted to keep up my workouts, but I didn't want to trouble my dad to get me a guest pass in the campus where he lives. So I checked out Planet Fitness, and I had a great experience. Charles and Ellen were friendly and answered my questions, making me feel perfectly at home, just for the weekend. It is so clean! I love how clean this gym is! The staff are incredible and hardworking people.
It's a pretty good gym. Charles is great. Most of the time I'm greeted. There's occasionally some sullen young guys at the front desk, but I understand after an 8 hr shift, it's hard to look upbeat. Kudos to the ladies for keeping the atmosphere up. The only beef I have, and it's out of their control, I'm sure, such small locker space for men. When it's moderately busy, it's standing room only in there to get a locker, or to get to your locker after your workout.
As a black card member, I check into planet fitness in Falmouth often -probably over a hundred times with my wife . Today when I checked in I had to get off a piece of exercise equipment to go to the front desk to check in my wife. As they were directing me on their new procedure- I explained I was on a short time frame and I was frustrated not being able to see my phone without my glasses.
