After 5 years of being a great customer with a Black Card membership, Planet Fitness made it extremely hard to get out my month to month contract , which I wouldn’t be able to use anymore due to moving to an area with no planet fitness. I wrote hand written letters, talk to area managers etc to be get out. Several months later and the help of one employee who cares, I was finally the notified the cancellation went through. Planet fitness said due to it going through on that date, i will have to pay an additional two months.
I want to specifically recognize Kevin Romero at Planet Fitness in Hickory, NC for outstanding customer service. We have been trying to cancel my daughter’s membership, and the Planet Fitness location she attends in Roseville, MN told her they couldn’t help and that she had to go to the Hickory, NC location to cancel it—which made absolutely no sense, as we have never been to North Carolina.
