As of May 16, 2026, I am canceling my membership at Planet Fitness specifically because of the manager on duty today. Every time I come in, I am met with disrespect and an unwelcoming attitude from her. Instead of making members feel comfortable, she consistently creates unnecessary tension and makes the experience unpleasant. Because of this, I will no longer be returning, and several of my family members will also be canceling. It’s disappointing that one person’s behavior has pushed us away from this location.

As of May 16, 2026, I am officially canceling my membership at Planet Fitness due to the ongoing unprofessional and disrespectful behavior from the manager. Every visit has been unnecessarily difficult, and instead of a welcoming environment, I am met with attitude and poor treatment. This has made it impossible to feel comfortable using this location. Review for May 16, 2026: My experience with the manager working today at Planet Fitness was rude and unnecessary over simply trying to use the massage area and being told to click twice. Even if it’s policy, there’s a respectful way to speak to customers. The other staff members are always kind and professional, but this attitude seems to be a repeated issue.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Planet Fitness. The manager has consistently been disrespectful and unprofessional toward me. Every time I visit, I am met with unnecessary attitude and difficulty, which has made what should be a comfortable environment feel stressful and unwelcoming. Because of this ongoing issue, I have decided to cancel my membership. I’ve been to many planet fitness’s and usually they are in great condition. Unfortunately this standard changed when I visited a New York franchise. As shown in the figures attached there were multiple areas left in neglect. From paper towel and dust everywhere to a practically broken water fountain this is on the lower end of planet fitness’s. I hope these issues can be fixed for future patrons.
