For the most part this gym is great. However because of the recent boil order and the water fountains being down, I had to purchase water from the vending machine. CAUTION: This vending machine charged me for 3 items when I only grabbed 2, and the QR code to scan for the reciept disappeared before I could get my phone out to scan it.
I have been a black card member at this gym for over a year now. This location has always been my most favorite and the staff was to die for before the new construction. I came back after new construction and there is a new lady (Asian/ long brown hair) that seems to be the manager. She was so rude to other customers leaving me upset after witnessing how down she made the members feel. She has a horrible attitude and excels in belittling people. Planet fitness is your ultimate starting point. It’s a gym that has everything needed to be proficient in the gym and live a healthy life style. If you’re looking for heavy weight, look elsewhere. There are no free weights beyond dumbells, and the dumbbells only go up to 70(75? I don’t remember fully). In short, nothing wrong beyond the crowd Planet has of people just being nonsensical, taking forever, or just using it as a social spot to meet girls.
Absolutely ridiculous experience at this Planet Fitness. I was in the middle of a leg curl set at my max weight, full tension, when one of the staff members, a short scrawny dude, decided to interrupt me mid rep to comment on my footwear. Not only is that unprofessional, it’s flat out dangerous. Stopping someone during a max lift could have seriously injured me.
