I have been visiting Planet Beach in Olathe for two weeks, I purchased the groupon and now have purchased the two year elite membership. I was skeptical at first, not sure of red light therapy or some of the other services, but I have seen actual results, real--on my body--not going away after two days kind of results! In January of 2012, I contracted with Planet Beach on Baymeadows. My job was on that side of town, however I changed jobs (on the opposite side of town) but still continued to pay my contract of $65.00 per month even though I didn't go to the salon but a handful of times. Once my contract ran out, I was never contacted they just continued to charge my account on a month to month basis, when I called to cancel they told me I needed to give them a 30 day notice and no manager would be available for 2 weeks. So I guess a new company took this one over, the beds are a lot cooler than before plus its mainly focusedon tanning ( no more saunas or hydration station) and it has a new name, but its in the same spot

I first found them through groupon and i signed a contract for there services with the understanding that i can cancel with no problem whenever i want. 8 months later after paying them hundreds of dollars i decide to cancel and im still getting charged. Trying to get the manager is a joke because she is never available. So im filing fraud charges with my bank! You can never get someone to talk to you when it deals with your money!

I purchased Groupon for 10 services and had a consultation with one of their members who explained that photo facial session will be 20 minutes and a receptionist would call you tomorrow morning to schedule an appointments and it’s been 2 weeks no call from them so I called and again got the same reply and when I told her that you said the same thing 2 weeks ago, she asked me a question that if I am a member, and after knowing that I am not, she said photo facial is only for 15 minutes for guest and for members it is for 20 ... read more

Love the services and staff here! Spa services like water massage, hydration station and facial machine were awesome! The spray tan even has heated dryer and 4 different color options. Spa membership is the best value and a steal!

I discovered Planet Beaches on Westheimer in Feb., 2013. And I am so thankful I did. I go at least 3 times weekly and I love it. The staff is amazing! They are so warm and friendly (they know my name - which is a hard one) and they are amazing at multi-tasking. The ladies are most helpful in setting appointments around my work schedule. The spa experience is like no other (so be ready to think outside the box) and I am happy to say I am already seeing/feeling results in facial and body tone (2 different spa treatments). This is the WORST tanning salon I've ever been to and the owner KIM is extremely rude and is doing unethical sales practices. They lie to your face and only care about pushing you to buy into their crappy spa services and sell you their products. They are extremely over priced, and the few tanning beds they have are so dirty that I broke out into a severe skin rash. This was a real treat! The Hydration Station was very relaxing, and the sunless tan color came out fabulous! They also had some great moisturizers for sale, I picked up some very fragrant coconut scented skin care. They also had a nice assortment of scented candles, will have to pick one of those up on my next visit.
