Decor is dated and depressing, and so is the menu. They still serve foie gras, even though many cities and countries have banned it due to the extreme cru€lty involved in producing it. There were even protestors outside, making it a very unpleasant experience all around. Blech.

This was one of the worst food experiences I’ve ever had. After sending my well done steak back because I ordered it medium, the owner came back with the plate, asked me to cut the middle of the steak to prove he was right. He was wrong, I was so uncomfortable that I told him to leave the plate and go away. He then canceled my reservation on open table precluding me from putting a review there. I’d never go back and was appalled about how I was treated.

We made reservations to celebrate having a night off without kids. The appetizers were good but the portions were small. When our entrees arrived, one of our party ordered a steak medium but it was clearly cooked well done. She asked the server for a new steak, the server took it back but the cook/owner brought the same steak back and told her to cut to the center and tried to convince her it was cooked to medium.
