Stay away if you don't want to get ripped off. I went to the Parkland Emergency in Plaistow from a recommendation from my doctor. "they are a full service ER" he said. I had blood clots in the past and was having some similar symptoms. An emergency room would be the quickest way to diagnose. I went in, told them what was going on, got put in a room with the "tablet" to get my billing info. I took my Mom in this morning after a bad fall. We were seen within minutes and consulted with the doctor very quickly while the nurses took care of her vitals. X-rays, bloodwork, and a CT scan were done right away, we got the results not long after, and we were on our way within a couple of hours. A far cry from visits to other ERs watching my poor mom laying on a gurney ALL DAY in a hallway in excruciating pain being completely ignored by the nurses. Today felt like a miracle. I went in with strap throat. The nurses I don't have strep throat. I don't need an antibiotic. The doctor came in says that I do have strep throat and that I do need an eye biotic. But yet the nurses so persistent that I don't and that I don't need anybody and that I'm just a whimp. Let that are going in for no reason. Universes should not be speaking to a patient about diagnosis. That is what a doctor is for
