Unlike the person in the previous review, I've actually had a very pleasant experience with this mechanic shop. I brought my truck in and they called me to tell me what the problem was and how much it would cost to fix it. They told me how long it would take and everything. I found the price to be fair. ive been using this shop since 2007. I was refered by numerous others when I originally began using them. There are a few other local shops that had even given me prices higher than theirs. They have always been very pleasant... read more

Plaisance Auto is the only shop in town that would even consider working on my BMW. All the other shops told me to take it to Plaisance because they can repair anything. I am very glad that I did bring them my car because they not only repaired it properly, they did so at a much lower cost than the BMW dealership had quoted me. I will use them all of the time now that we have moved to Morgan City.
Well had a long time trying to repair my truck. Told me it would be ready by one date and it was phone a friend. 3 days later it was fixed. He put a programmer in my truck and over charged me $200 for it. He never would tell me what kind he put in my truck till it was installed so I couldn't question me on it. Next he broke a support trey in my truck and said it was b/c of the cheap plastic so he never tried to fix it.
