I am truly thankful for the Serenity Center in Plainview. The program helped me with hurts and hangups that I carried from my addiction. I am more confident in my recovery emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. The staff treated my daughter and I with the upmost respect and loved US every step of the 90 days. I was stole from when I was here, my mom had to call the sherif because they tried to keep my belongings. the staff talk amongst themselves of you're personal business and don’t care if they’re heard by other clients and worst of all there is no one on one there is no insulation so I froze when I stayed here, there are not enough working bathrooms and the girls just kept using the toilet and filling it up it was gross. I would never recommend going here don’t know how it’s not shut down.
this is without a doubt the worst experience i ever had at a substance abuse facility and you cant just keep writing off low reviews as angry alcoholics complaining forever - there really are serious problems here that need to be addressed. how this place is open still is beyond me
The address is not 454 I27, it's 450 I27. Save yourself some time and trust me. We went to pick up a family member and called ahead to avoid any issues. They laughed when we called back, concerned because GPS took us to 454 I27
One of the counselors, Ruby Shears, breaches clients' confidentiality. She has a tendency to relay personal information to people she is related to and also to client family members. If you want words twisted or your personal family traumas out there, she's the perfect counselor for you!
