Super easy to schedule, really nice staff, and I’m glad my guy only had a minor issue—plus it was very affordable! Thanks to Plainfield Animal Hospital (Dr. Marcus?)—the vet and his assistant were both fantastic.
I honestly have no idea how anybody gives this place positive reviews anymore. Maybe they just bring their pets for simple things like wellness checks and vaccinations. Many years ago, it used to be an excellent practice and they were caring and compassionate. I brought my cat here four times between February and May for the same issue. She was bleeding and I told them where I believed she was bleeding from and they kept telling me it was coming from her mouth because of dental issues, which made no sense to me. Excellent care and attention were given. They were very kind to our dog. You are charged before arrival for a full checkup (body, skin, ears, teeth etc.) It will cost $116 ay the door. Make sure to ask for an assessment of what the issue is and treatment cost after checkup, and they will do this for you to decide what you are able to pay. I believe the overall price was fair.
