My wife and I have been to Placidos on a number of occasions. Up to this point it has been our go to for Italian. Service today was lack luster…needing to ask for bread, napkin and fork. We both got ravioli which we’ve had multiple times. Today it was overcooked and chewy. Still good flavor but not something I would return for.
What a cute and cozy little restaurant. I didn’t even know it was there. Drinks were amazing (and potent), food was delicious, nicely plated, and nice portions. Very nice selection of food. Tiramisu was fantastic! Definitely recommend and will be going back. Shout out to Daisy, our server…sweet and very prompt. Not super fancy so a great little date place or change of pace from the usual big name restaurants. Make reservations as it’s a small place. A+++
Waited 1 hour for a table, watched like nearly 15-20 people get seated before us. Watched people eat items that weren’t even in the menu that looked amazing, but our raviolis were hard, chewy, oddly dense. The sauce was overly peppered on the salmon ravioli to where we were unable to taste the so-called basil cream sauce. The marinara was not very good at all, very acidic.
