Signed for one unit, got another. No outlet in the bathroom, constant plumbing issues, broken fridge, strong smoke and odours that infiltrate into the unit, junkies trying doors, zero security. Tried to open a complaint with TAL — even they admitted Carpreit is corrupt. And somehow Carpreit twisted it all to put the blame on me so I have to live in this place for a year because this company doesn’t care about tenants’ well-being.
I lived in the building for about four years in a studio apartment on the 16th floor. The view was wonderful; you could see a large part of the city. The apartment has a private bathroom and very good size; I was really sad to have to leave it. Overall, the building is fine; it has a laundry room, and the last administration took care of fixing the broken washing machines and maintaining the building.
