We rented this house for a multi family vacation, and I can’t say enough good things about it. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out. My favorite spot was the outside porch. It was great for reading my book and also for our cocktail parties. The kids had a ball and loved having there own space in the bunk house. Absolutely beautiful property, my friends and I enjoyed our stay for Ithaca College graduation. Location is gorgeous & peaceful. Enjoyed being surrounded by nature and the expansive grounds were perfect for yard games or flying a kite. The pool was massive and came in handy on the 90 degree day (thank you for opening it early for our arrival). Lounging around surrounded by the orchard was heaven. My extended family enjoyed this house's living and outdoor spaces and the rooms that were truly en suites. The location is beautiful and peaceful. However, two rooms listed as bedrooms are not legitimately labeled. One is a sunroom that is hot, noisy, and windowed on three sides without light blocking. The living room in the bunkhouse is called a bedroom but everyone has to walk through it to get to the bathrooms and pool. If the trundle is open, no one can reach the bathrooms. I would not stay here again. Our original reservation was for early 2020, but because of the pandemic, we were able to move our dates by a year which we did. ( Even though they were able to book the dates with other guests during the same dates, they would not offer us a refund) Upon arrival, on a sunny July day, the air was stale and it was hot in the big house. The website says that cancellations will be honored 30 days in advance and money will be refunded. This is false advertisement. My daughter booked this location months in advance, to have her wedding on 7/4/20. Then Covid came. In March 2020 she tried to cancel her reservation after paying in advance for 5 nights at $1600 each. The owners refused to refund the payment but did agree to let her use the location 7/4/21.
