I visited Pekomd for the first time after being referred, and I’m so glad I went. It’s beautiful inside! I worked with Bridgette, and she was incredible — so educational, patient, and really took the time to explain everything to me and find the best route for my goals. I felt super comfortable and She even followed up afterward, which meant a lot. I couldn’t be happier with my results and already can’t wait to go back. Also, shoutout to Lauren for being so responsive and kind when I called. CANT RECOMMEND ENOUGH!
My journey began in Jan of 23 with a different surgeon. He was great but my reconstruction failed. After 10 surgeries/debridement I was left with deformities. After meeting with Dr Markov a plan was made and he turned my nightmare into a dream come true in just two surgeries!! He is amazing and I would recommend him to everyone! Thank you so much for making feel and look like a woman again.

I had a prophylactic, nipple sparing, double mastectomy due to high risk from family history and the BRCA1 gene. Following this surgery, I had a PAP Flap reconstruction.
