After reading all the recent reviews - I was on the fence about eating here. So glad I went with the positive reviews. We had a fabulous dinner. The service was great - thank you Jodi! The food was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend! Had clams in a fra diavolo sauce and paella with a whole lobster. Portions are a nice size and bread dipping was plentiful! We shared since we couldn’t take home any leftovers. Oh and the tiramisu dessert- decadent!
We live in SSH year-round and really try to support local businesses. We want PJ's to succeed but they really need to make some changes to attract and keep customers. Let me start with the positive. The food is good. It's very good. Nice size portions, enough for leftovers, but portions is not a requirement for us. Quality over quantity is what we look forward to. We shared the beet salad. I hate giving a mediocre review to a place we usually love. This has been a favorite spot for us since they opened on the boulevard, but this time not a great experience. Food was OK, but bland and forgettable. Service was OK, but the kids running the front of house showed that they didn't really care, and are not really service professionals.
