I was really excited to be able to try Korean pizza—specifically goguma pizza, since it’s not a thing here. We got the holy sweet potato pizza and toppoki, and my brother got katsu from katsuya (because both are at same place). Firstly, the atmosphere was quite nice, it’s pretty dimly lit and mainly booth seating and table seating. You also get a view of the kitchen. The bathroom is downstairs. Tried Korean pizza for the first time. It tasted pretty good. I love how they have a huge variety of flavours to choose from, including adding toppings into the crust. However it is a bit more pricey than others. We also enjoyed the grilled chicken.
Got the Maru Five pizza and shared it with a friend. Overall it tasted pretty good but the beef ribs was kind of dry. The spicy sauce also has a kick to it. For someone who like spicy food, it was actually spicy. They do put alot of toppings on the pizza. We also got the garlic and sirarcha mayo dip. The garlic dip has a strong garlic flavor. Excellent partnership with Katsuya - we were able to order both during our stay. First time here, we tried a half and half 13” of the Shimbul and the Sweet Potato. Excellent cheese pull. Loaded with ingredients. Love the pizza crust crunchy yet soft. I am just not used to sweeter pizza flavors so that took adjusting to but otherwise still delicious!
It was awful. I hope no one else wastes their money on their trip at this fast food place! It was one of the worst, lowest-quality, and most poorly topped pizzas I’ve ever eaten. It honestly felt like I was just eating plain bread.
