I ordered a Stromboli and asked the gentleman that answered the phone if I could get extra cheese and extra sauce on my Strombolli the gentleman said ok. When I got it and started eating it, it didn't have extra cheese or extra sauce. I called back and talked to the same gentleman, Who said he was a manager and he said that he was the one that made my sandwich and he did put extra cheese and extra sauce on it. I said well, there wasn't extra cheese and sauce on it so I guess we won't be back and then he hung up the phone.
The building is dirty. There’s a train that brings your drinks and it looks like the door you open to get them has never been cleaned, drinks have been spilled or splashed. The benches were dirty. The place looks like it needs upgraded. The food was not very appetizing. I ordered a Stromboli and it came with chips, my chips were crumbs out of the bottom of the bag however I complained and they brought me chips from the top of the bag!! I love this place and constantly have visited ever since my childhood. I wish they would bring the video game systems and TVs back at the tables.
In town for the weekend and we were all looking forward to pizza king for dinner. I was extremely let down. The only good thing was breadsticks and cheese dip. The pizza was extremely under baked and the crust didn't seem as salty as it used to be. Waste of money
I lived in indy till 2010....and now everytime I come to visit eating at Pizza King in Avon is a must. On my last trip Wed July 1...i ordered my usual Large Deluxe,so I always have some to take home back to Ky with me. Upon tasting it..the crust seemed a bit under cooked compared to my last visit there....also there seemed to be some sort of spice missing.
