Order 3 pizzas pan wast crispy half done then the next day I ordered lunch thinking ok bad day so the next day I ordered two personal pans thinking ok that should be good nope

Only question I have is why do they charge a TIP for carry out orders? I understand if I ate at the restaurant and my waitress/waiter brought out my food,drinks brought back refills ect. But, I walk in get my pizza walk out.... exactly who am I tipping?
Great service. Very friendly and clean. Enjoyed the selection of salad, pizza, and pasta on their lunch buffet.
