I'm surprised by all the negative reviews, but i suppose it's exceedingly more common to hear negativity than praise. Ionia Pizza Hut always does a really nice job. Most importantly, it's very clean. Staff is always friendly and efficient (shoutout to Katy). Food is super fast and affordable. You can order huge meals and they'll be ready in less than 15 minutes... I don't know what's to complain about exactly. First world problems i guess! Keep it up, Ionia Pizza Hut.
Tonight we stopped at the pizza hut in Ionia right after the saranac cross country meet with a couple very hungry kids we dont have a pizza hut with in a hour of us. So we were looking forward to some pizza hut pizza. Upon arrival while waiting to be seated we were informed that waitress WANTED to go home at 8. Which is what time it was. Even know there was a party enjoying dinner in the dining room we were not able to dine in. They said we could order to go and sit and wait for our pizza to be made in the lobby. Good food.
I have given this location the benefit of the doubt twice and both times have been disappointments. All the waitresses I have dealt with here have been incompetent. The first time there, we were treated like inconveniences. Our waitress didn’t offer to get us anything else, causing us to have to stop her for more napkins and ranch. She rolled her eyes and let out a frustrated breath. I could understand this if the restaurant was busy, but we were one of two tables there.
