I picked up a Margherita pie ( 24$) to bring to a friend. When I had gotten about 2 miles away I got a call from Pizza Delicious telling me they had given me the wrong order ( guess I should’ve checked). I returned and they exchanged my pie and gave me a couple of cookies. By the time I reached my friends house the pie was like cardboard and there wasn’t many toppings. I like cold pizza- but this crust needs to be consumed before it cools off. It was really disappointing. The cookies were great.
We grabbed a takeout Margherita pizza from Pizza Delicious while exploring the Bywater, and it did not disappoint! The crust was thin and crispy with great flavor—simple but done really well. You can tell they care about quality ingredients. The dine-in area seemed popular and had a cool, laid-back vibe. Definitely a solid spot if you’re craving good pizza in a chill New Orleans neighborhood. Peanut safe but a pasta dish has pine nuts in the pesto.
