The best pizza places can be deceptive. What may look a bit unkempt to some is often an indication that they focus on the pizza and little else. This is one of those places. And the guys are super sweet.

I lived in Albany when Pizza Central opened. It was always my go to for a big tasty by the slice. I’ve since moved but when I’m in town, I’m sure to stop in. It’s not changed. The crust is the perfect blend of thin with a chewy outer crust. Their cheese is actually cheese. I feel like some shops get cheap on the cheese, but not here. They have great classic lunch specials, slices with a drink.
Served me quickly, left with a full belly.
The food is fantastic.
