FOLLOW-UP: Eight years later and I still crave their pizza. As a native New Yorker, I do not say that lightly. They closed their standalone pizza location during Covid and now serve pizza, sandwiches, salads, soups, homemade pastas and breakfast from the front café at their catering space by the Peninsula. Our 40th anniversary party last Saturday exceeded my expectations- particularly from Certe. First of all, their 2 ‘wait staff,’ Perla and Nancy were the epitome of professionalism. They are great ambassadors for Certe. The food was beautifully showcased and prepared. Our guests also raved about Certe’s hospitality and the menu.
