Unique Location, Huge Pies I miss living closer to Pizza 51. I have been eating there since it opened. Jason and Shannon are the owners. It is located in a converted old gas station with lots of great patio seating in the spring and summer. HUGE pizzas and great salads. Jason was really involved in the recent KC Restaurant Week, as well. Directly across the street from UMKC. Could use a little more parking options, but know that is a difficult request. Now I am craving Pizza 51!
one slice The slices of pizza at this restaurant are incredibly huge... just one slice is enough for your entire meal. The interior is really neat - this place used to be an old gas station. They have really unique toppings that you won't find at other pizza places and you should try, like feta cheese - yum!
