Moved into Cicero Senior Lofts with offer of 500 dollars a month rent no matter income amount moved in January 2022 paying 1month security 1month rent when I tried to speak to manager the office was closed the only person I could find was white Janitor did not answer questions about problems made police report police were refused entrance 02_01_2022 for none payment of rent 02_22 was locked out of apartment another police report this place gave false information refused to give me my things

I've been living at loft bout 3ys.. when I first moved in my rent was $700 and some change I was working the 2nd yr my rent went up to $880.00 I'm retired now an on a fixed income .. I expressed my concern to the office manager why is my rent still 880.00 an its not gone down now I'm not making the money I was making when I was working. Her answer was this isn't a subsidized building..I'm a little confused? Yall can go up if my income go up $3 but you don't go down if my income go down $3 but yall saying your not subsidized.... read more
