I recently purchased a Stihl 261-c original (still carb tuned) I asked the professionals what the recommended bar size was, I was happily shocked when I was instructed to purchase a 20inch bar and chain. In fact 16 inch is the recommended size and 18 inch on a light bar is the maximum. I purchased another 2 as there was a 2 for 1 deal. I recently ordered a Briggs and Stratton oil change kit. What arrived was a different brand which is quite fiddly and more difficult to use. Today I tried to use it but it didn’t work.
