We took our dog there with a leg injury. They didn’t to anything at all to the leg. They tried to convince us that our dog had cancer and congestive heart failure based solely on his age and breed. Without performing any lab work or xrays, we were told performing these procedures would not be beneficial unless we were willing to hospitalize our dog. The staff at BluePearl were great. They took my Otis in at the request from another emergency vet that was unable to take him without any hassle, they were up front from start to finish, and saved my boys life.
I am extremely disappointed in our experience at BluePearl Pet Hospital. We brought our 15 week old puppy, Disco, in during an emergency and spent approximately 5 hours there terrified and looking for answers. The communication throughout the visit was incredibly confusing and inconsistent. We were verbally told by the veterinarian that Disco “could have pneumonia or pancreatitis,” but that additional testing would be required to confirm either diagnosis and that those tests would not be performed.
