Dr. Sam Mathur is a 10/10. I highly recommend him to anyone with sinus issues. He has a refined skillset and fantastic bedside manner. He spent a lot of time with me explaining my issues, what he felt would help, and I walked away with hope. I was skeptical as I have had chronic sinus issues my entire life. This was a game changer. Writing for my mom in her 80s. After 4 years of seeing ENT specialists the nose just standing there in conversations with friends and family would leak clear liquid. The office answered many of our questions and the CT scan that no other ENT did changed her life. I found the office staff to be very patient with our million questions, charges and fatter care. Not good very unorganized. They claimed I missed 3 tele health appointments, however never received anything from them ever to schedule!???? If they can’t do something simple like this, I would not want them working on me. Now they say they won’t see me. Not good at all, plenty of great ENTs in Pittsburgh, steer clear!!!
I was looking forward to leaving a 5 star review and I will start with the good because it deserves praise. Dr. Mathur did a phenomenal job. He fixed my deviated septum with a balloon septoplasty and I really appreciated communicating and working with him. I am breathing better and so grateful. I’d recommend him 100% if you are struggling the way I was, but beware of their billing business practices as the office communication is not consistent nor clear. My experience with Dr. Mathur and Pittsburgh Sinus Centers in Wexford, PA has been life changing! All of my life I have struggled with allergies and have received allergy injections many years throughout my life. They usually help but over the last couple of years, even with regular allergy injections, I was miserable. Most allergy meds wouldn’t work, except for Benadryl and I would often have to take several a day to just get by.
