Series 60 out of frame rebuild by Pittsburgh power fuel dilution problems from the beginning. had back in there 7 times they replaced 8 injectors in all and a new head. Still didn’t fix it. Pete said to leave it on the bad side of town and leave it running. The engine is now being replaced with Detroit reman after 300000 miles it seized up.So much for a Pittsburgh Power signature engine rebuild
Great people, great shop, and very good work. I highly recommend.
Almost 1 week has passed since I left Pittsburgh Power with what feels like a new truck. I have a 2014 Freightliner Cascadia DD15 10spd Manual. 455 horsepower with 1200 torque. I pull doubles pups and 53' vans for FedEx. Was not overly happy with my new route that had me on hills on Rt 70 & 68 in Pa, WV, and Md. was always downshifting 2 sometimes 3 gears to crawl up at 35-40 msp with only about 20-23 thousand pounds. After a diagnosis, spin on the dyno and tune...I left out of Pittsburgh Power with 645 Horsepower and 2115 T... read more
Very nice staff. Nice drivers lounge. JR is great with the tuning and dyno very knowledgeable.
yes great place. these guys know what there doing.and treat you good.
Loading down the street at Brayman Construction Cat Excavator parts!!! Got my Engine done in 2011!! Very pleased with the tune and job done!!
I had blown a turbo yesterday in Lebanon Tennessee, my boss Jim Burt contacted Bruce, within an hour, I had. information on a repair shop, and a turbo on its way. Bruce and Craig went WAY beyond the call of duty to help a customer.
They have treated me very well including the knowledge Pete has shared with building my big horse power (6-750) big cams. Recently I got a bad liner (genuine Cummins) out of the box. Had a pretty good gouge in the wall and would eat a set of rings instantly if used. Called them at 2:54 MST on a Friday. Received the replacement over night. Yet my head from Cummins itself has been on a truck somewhere for over a week. I will always continue to do business with Pittsburgh.
Time will tell the tale. The professionalism of the staff is by far the very best I've encountered in my career to date. These guys know their stuff. Almost time for a test drive.
Pittsburgh Power has a 4.3 star rating with 206 reviews.
