Picked up hearing aids yesterday, Madisyn did a great job fitting them, providing verbal instruction and demonstrated how different buttons, functions, and answered all my questions. I like the service and the 30 day return policy. I had them in while driving home with the radio on. I immediately thought I heard high notes in the music I don't think I've heard in some time. Our audiologist Amanda, nurse Janet, and Dr.Hillman are beyond concerned, compassionate, competent, and professional! The office staff are exceptional as well My brother and sister have experienced hearing loss since birth and now have cochlear implants. The Pittsburgh EAR Associates group just doesn’t deal with Cochlear… They deal with all kind of hearing loss and hearing issues. I would never hesitate to recommend them to anyone. It is a bit of a travel distance for us but we are well satisfied.
Dr. Hillman continues the seminal work begun circa 1980 or so by Dr. Janetta and Dr. Moeller. I have had CT scans, MRI's, audiograms, and other tests to monitor my hearing and my vertigo. I suffered a TBI on active duty in 1974 and was cursed with a lifetime of vertigo. With annual follow-up visits, carefully controlled medication, and wonderfully quick responses from staff and Dr. Hillman, the vertigo still exists, but is more controlled.
