Love the vet here, however, the employees are not very friendly. We stopped using the clinic due to a bad expirience, but came back when our pup was sick. For the third time, and our most recent vet visit, the vet tech was quite rude and judgmental. The Vet does great, the techs, not so kind! I guess we are back to finding a new clinic.
Good services at a fair price but some of the staff are very pushy to try to sell services and sometimes come off as rude. Ie; i brought my dog in for a nail trimming and after he got his nails trimmed the vet tech scolded me on how I should get them trimmed more often. He gets them trimmed every 2-4 weeks by me. I only brought him in because I was too busy that week to do it myself, and thought $20 wasn't a bad price for a trimming. They care about you and your pets and do whatever they can!
I felt extremely judged when I took my outdoor cat in to get checked out. No one should feel judged when they take their animals for a vet visit. Westwood is so much better, they actually treat you with respect. 10/10 would not recommend.
We have been taking our cats to Pittsboro Veterinary for several years. We have one cat who is medically fragile, having severe asthma and required bladder stone surgery last year. A vet asst who has been there for years, jokingly refers to her as the “Million Dollar Cat”. They have helped us keep her alive with their care and also knowing when to refer her to specialists.
