As a total bike novice, it was such a pleasure to go in to this shop and feel completely comfortable and not pressured or out of place. Lovely space, they had exactly what I needed-- a ladies bike seat, and then Eddie even attached it for me~ Thanks so much!
Stumbled onto P-Bikes this morning and back into the shop this afternoon, this time with an 8 yr. old and very outgrown bicycle in tow. Neither he or myself necessarily knew what we needed or wanted, but time didn't seem to matter as we discussed a lot of options. In the end my little buddy gravitated towards what he wanted and we left with an awesome little MTB. I think he rode more tonight than he ever has, and continually comments how much he loves his new bike and how great our local bike shop is. I agree...
An excellent little shop. Eddie built up a great custom bike for me and he has always been fast and thorough with other repairs and maintenance.
Great shop, very in keeping with Pittsboro's "vibe," and a sorely needed service. Such a bike friendly town needed a bike shop owned locally. For a brand new shop it's very well appointed, with a knowledgeable proprietor and a good selection of bikes and bike accessories.
We are really lucky to have this shop in Pittsboro. Got three kids' bikes fixed for under $50 and the kids had a good time.
I highly recommend Eddie. He made a few small adjustments and saved me a lot of money, where I think a bigger shop would have tried to push unnecessary new parts on me. I will never go to another bike shop.
