I thought Pitt Ohio was a standup good company to use for having COG products picked up and delivered to my manufacturing facility, and to deliver to my bulk customers. But the last two incidents have changed my mind. They are doing what many other LTL services do and lying to their customers. Either the drivers are lying, or dispatch is lying. Preloads or drop & hooks here are a breeze, but if you're an outside carrier coming in for a live load or unload, be prepared with plenty of food and entertainment because it's an all-day affair. It literally takes them 8+ hours to work half a trailer (*12/16/24 currently at 9 hours waiting in a dock and I'm told they haven't even started on my partial unload*).
