I have belong to the Chamber as an ambassador first and then as a board member for several year’s. We are all volunteers and work so great together to accomplish so much connecting with all the business. We partner closely with city.

Wonderful Pier & Food/Shopping, Public Parking is $6hr, I paid $30 to fish for the afternoon, next time I'll find a place that welcomes visitors, $6hr parking is insane!

Please be aware of where you park in this town. The paid parking is not well marked and we got stuck with a $150 ticket for 30 minutes of parking. An employee of the city told us it is not well marked because locals don't want a lot of signage to destroy the beauty. Been coming here for many years but won't be back.

I wanted to make a complaint about being defrauded by a motel owner.. The City of Pismo said that the city only handles code violations, and referred me to the Chamber of Commerce, who they said were "liasons" between the hotels/motels and the consumer. They didn't answer their phone so I went by twice(website says open 9-5... not!) and the elevator(the only access)wasn't responding. There was no note saying 'Back at --'.
