Be very careful if you are booking and end up needing a refund. We had booked many rooms back in July 2024 for July 2025 but due to cancer setback we had to cancel. We sent notice starting back in November 2024 and we were considerate regarding their hurricane damage so we were patient. So far only one person has been refunded their amount due and many many other family members have not been refunded. Many texts, emails, phone calls have gone unanswered. Whether you are looking to get out of the mountains like us or the city, this is a perfect retreat. The location is close to city life but out of the way enough to feel like you’re a million miles away. There are stores within a 15 minute drive if you need to stock up on food to cook in or you can take a 5 minute drive to Sunset Bar and Grill and enjoy a delicious meal on the beach. My husband and I came down to see our Grands on a spur of the moment trip. We found this hidden gem on a general Google search and it did not disappoint. If you’re looking for “Old Florida”, quiet and secluded from the hustle and bustle of daily life in Florida this is the place. They allow for pets, kids, and reasonably well behaved adults 🤣.
