Small restaurant, centrally located, just few meters away from Tottenham Court Road tube station. The food is British with French twists in each course. I wasn't impressed either from presentation or the taste of it. Overpriced/small portions. When visited on Saturday lunch time, it was completely empty - the atmoshere was somehow depressing as there is no sunlight entering the main room and use of so many lights during the day make it awkward.
Nice set up in the restaurant, liked all the food apart from the cold tomato soup for my starter, i found it too sharp in taste but the chocolate dessert was heaven.
Very personalised service from the staff. We came here for a friend's birthday and they were brilliant. Suggested the right wines, served us a surprise birthday treat for the birthday girl. Very chill and good quality night. Music was at the right level, not too loud but not too soft. Absolutely perfect dinner. Go for the bisque and the oysters. Perfect.
went a couple weeks ago for a birthday. We were given a private room which was a nice touch. Had the tapas dishes of which the oysters and pig head croquette were definite winners. Trout salad was fairly small and more like sashimi. We also added a main dish, the pulled lamb belly which was exquisite in gravy with butterbeans. The servers seemed a little rushed and there was one dish that was forgotten until we reminded them. This, however did not detract from the overall experience. 7/10
