Same problem as described in other reviews online. We asked for samples for our wood floors. Loved them. What we received was a far cry from the samples. Wood looked it had been burned -- and this was the majority of what we received. In addition, MANY of the boards were cut so poorly and unevenly they could not be used. We ended up having to pay shipping for replacement boards on about a third of the order. Plus boards shipped not dry -- they are sticky -- and so now we are having to scrub off sawdust. Fantastic Flooring – Take everything the previous reviewer (Acts1310) said and forget it. They clearly have a vendetta against Pioneer Millworks. I just installed approximately 1,500 sq. feet of their product (mixed hardwoods), and it's exceptional, both in terms of quality and appearance. It's reclaimed flooring, and as such, it does have marks and imperfections built into it along with contrasting colors. poor service – our first clue things are not right pioneermillworks(dot com)/products/bargain-basement (bottom of the page) "Samples are not available for bargain basement items." YOU CAN"T GET SAMPLES OF WHAT YOU ARE PURCHASING flooring is an afterthought for these people - Timberframe being their prime moneymaker.
