The service department used to provide same-day appointments for winterizations, but starting in 2025, they eliminated that option. This change shows a lack of customer focus, especially for people like me who make a special trip to Roscommon just to drop off boats and Sea-Doos. Without same-day service, I’m now forced to make an additional trip — adding more than 6 hours of driving. I was recently in Pioneer Hills to look at their Kawasaki PWCs thinking I might be able to get a deal at the end of the season. The staff is nice. However, after reading the comments about the service department, and Pioneer Hills acknowledging their own staff shortages, I would recommend buying somewhere that will be able to provide reliable service as all these machines are high maintenance and will require routine maintenance. For me, I couldn't get past the service issues.
It is very unfortunate they no longer do same day winterizations. That is a service that is predictable as to how long it takes and should be able to be scheduled. Sounds like Pioneer Hills is struggling with staffing their service department. Making appointments is a common courtesy that all reputable boat and car dealerships honor. Other than this, the staff and service team have been helpful over the years.
