Very reasonably priced, family (especially young kid) oriented, two years in a row great Christmas tree experience. Conveniently located too!!
Saturday evening my daughter Jessica, my son Josh and his fiancee kept our Family tradition of going to Pioneer Tree Farms for our Christmas Tree!! This year began a new family tradition for my son Josh and his fiancee Megan because they are expecting a little girl on December 8th!! Our experience I was great as it always is!!! Our Small Business Saturday purchase was at Pioneer Evergreen Farm and Forget Me Not Florist in Orwigsburg. We have been going there for many years for two trees and they are always very helpful and really friendly!!
This was our first year coming and I must say it was amazing! The staff are very kind hearted. It's excellent for children, and family oriented! Prices aren't ridiculous either. I highly recommend! There was so much for my 3 year old to do and he tells us he wants to come back! Thank you for everything yous do for the children and parents!! Even us "big kids" can have some fun!!
First time here and it was just OK. The food stand was very disorganized. Food tasted OK, but wasn't very warm when we got it. The hayride has spectacular views and the guide gave cool facts throughout the ride, but when you sit on the side benches you slide around when you go up and down the steep mountains. The tree maze was really cool and unique, but the bridge that goes over the water drops too low, almost that you are in the water and is very slippery. The bathrooms were also absolutely disgusting.
Well, enjoyed the hay ride. Just need to reserve AND show up early to get decent seats. Kids loved the attractions that were "included" with the handstamp. Everything's NOT included with the handstamp... Food service totally sucked. Waited 20+ minutes for a hot dog. Gentleman before us ordered loaded waffle fries, waited patiently for a while... Finally told us he had to go and said if we wanted we could have them ... Service was very poor
