Love the improvements over the years. Prior is just felt like red brick everywhere without a breakup in color and central to all local transit. (Just about every bus, max and even streetcar are within 2-3 blocks max.
There were a lot of people from all walks , it was a good environment even kid friendly but in a wheelchair I was bottlenecked from overcrowded areas especially where the bus and food trucks were .. couldn't even see umbrella man (statue) it was blocked and food truck nearly parked over it...
Huge shout out to both pioneer square and trimet security officers. I had a scary situation happening and both teams of security officers jumped in to help me and help me safely get away from the person causing the situation and the tri met officer even rode with me on the max halfway to my stop that was in Gresham to make sure that the person that was causing the situation didn't continue to follow and harass me. I will forever be thankful to the trimet public safety officer he was a very compassionate and brave young man! ... read more
