Multiple days of waiting 2 hours to go to and from work. Literally takes 1 hour 45 minutes to get from 5th line to glenview cottages area. This company needs to figure it out and hire some planners. The MTO says its "too dangerous" to work during night hours. Apparently flood lights and generators aren't a thing anymore. Or how about spend some money on the portable traffic lights that are used on most highway sections that need flagging. People seem to get more frustrated day by day as it seems to be getting worse! Has to be THE worst construction company in all of northern Ontario. These people need to stop getting given contracts.
Does not surprise me one bit that this company has not many good reviews. Putting lives in danger for as long as I can remember. North out of Goulais, we crest a bit of a hill to see construction right there. A worker standing having a smoke. No speed signs or anything indicating a slow down on a major highway. We are hauling a small trailer. We were less than 50 feet away when we had to slam on the brakes as the worker clues in that someone is coming and walks out in front of us with a stop sign that he had been leaning on.... read more
Fire you project manager. You should be doing hwy construction at night, instead of backing traffic up for kilometers.
