My scout troop just finished a three day weekend at camp pioneer. The facility was excellent even with the rain on Saturday morning the scouts had a great time. If you and your troop or group would like to enjoy a quiet setting in the woods then this is the place. All the scouts are asking when can we go back

Amazing time with a great group of Scouts! Cabins were clean and comfortable. Views were amazing. I would definitely go back!

We held our 1st Family Reunion here. There ended up being about 20 of us. Ages 2 to 70+. All had fun. My one hesitation about returning is that the campground is not ADA friendly. We have someone in a wheelchair and the cabins were not easily accessible. The main issue is there not being a ramp to access the kitchen and common areas. You have to go down a rocky slope from the cabin. This was challenging. Someone using a cane or crutches would have difficulty.
