I bought a couple of items and they were badly packed, so one broke. I contacted the auction house. They said they could offer me a 50% refund of the sales price of the broken item but not a full refund and without the buyers premium and without the shipping. Or I could return the item but would have to pay for the shipping. The item was heavy, shipping was expensive.
Business response:
One item broke in shipping and she wanted us to give her some money back and she would just fix it. We discussed it and said that we could give her half of the purchase price back or she could ship it back and we would refund the whole amount. It states in our terms and conditions and it company policy that we do not refund shipping nor do we refund buyers premium. We are sorry that she was unhappy with the outcome.
Very dishonest company. They advertise merchandise they sell as high end antiques but sell total fakes. They are well known for this, all you have to do is look at the dozen of reviews out there from people who have experienced the same scam. Stay away from these criminals!
Company claims to sell collectibles and antiques they are fake and from India and China - mine arrived with made in stickers on them. Should not be allowed to have auctions and deceive customers. Won't refund money
