Memory Bear I had a memory bear made for our dog that passed away in November. I mailed our dog's winter jacket to P&N with directions of what I wanted. I received my bear promptly and it was done beautifully. I would recommend P&N to anyone as Sarah, employee, knew exactly what I wanted. The finished bear was done promptly and is so cute and reminds us of our dog, Desi. You can check out the memory bears at katobears.com

Unhappy You should make sure when getting quotes that you are very specific about what you are asking. You should then also re-verify the quote at the time of bringing in the item for alterations. Costs can be surprisingly high once alteration is done.

Frustrating and expensive mistake Used this service for a bridesmaid dress. $79 to hem and bring in bodice. Tried the dress on and asked how it looked. Was told "Good" by tailor from 15 feet away and hustled out. Retried dress on at home and noticed that it still- after I had the opportunity to move around a bit- needed to be taken in at least an inch on either side of the bust of a strapless dress. Pins & Needles Alterations is great I have been taking my clothes in need of repair to Pins and Needles Alterations for the past 2 years. The ladies there definitely know what they are doing! They've repaired everything from hems and zippers, to bridesmaid and flower girl dresses for me. I have been very pleased with their work!
