RecommendedI’ve taken several trainings with Nate and all of them have been excellent. He has a wonderful way of explaining exactly what you need to do, all in a supportive manner. I learn so much about a variety of skills necessary to be safe and have fun in the ocean. He uses a variety of learning styles and is great with all levels of Kayaking skills. I’m going to keep taking trainings with Nate. Plus he’s a great person!
Great day on the water with Nate and Mark. They did an excellent job of managing paddlers of different skill levels and making it challenging and productive for everyone. And fun!

Nate is one of best instructors I have ever met. he knows exactly what I am good at and not, and shows me the solution in detail about my wrong habits and kindly helps me get used to the proper one. Due to your classes, I've got the confidence on Sea kayaking!
We did two days of training with Pinniped in late fall 2014. Nate and Michael are superb instructors who really know how to teach to each student's abilities. We had a large group, so they brought in some assistant instructors in order to give personal attention to each student. I felt like I had a personal coach all day, although all of the coaches offered help. On a scale of 1-5, these guys are a 5! We're already planning to go back in 2015 for more instruction.
